Year of Supernatural Wisdom

New Year Message

We give glory to God for another new year. No doubt last year was a very challenging one for us as a result of the pandemic, but we thank God for seeing us through to the end. The singular fact that God has given us the privilege to witness the year 2021 would suggest that there is hope for us despite whatever we may have gone through as individuals, families or as a church during the past year.

The message that God gave me for the church for this New Year came from the gospel of Matthew 7:24-28 (KJV) with emphasis on verse 24 & 25. “24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them , I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. Therefore, the prophetic declaration for our church this year is the season of “Supernatural Wisdom” (wisdom of God). Wisdom from Matthew 7:24 can be defined as the direct application of the word of God.

It is important to note that there are other kinds of wisdom; intellectual wisdom, earthly wisdom and devilish wisdom (James 3:15 KJV) and none of these is superior to supernatural wisdom. As we journey through this apparent uncharted territory called 2021, it is unexpected that storms of life may arise. The storms this year may be a crisis in the family, a fractured relationship, sickness, loss of a job, the loss of a loved one, a lack of financial security and the list continues.

Whatever the storm may be, I want to assure you that the supernatural wisdom of God will always guarantee our triumph over every storm. This therefore becomes imperative for us to know what God has said in His word and apply ourselves to it willingly, believingly, heartily, joyfully and excitedly so that we can remain victorious in this New year. I pray that as we navigate through this new year, you will enjoy and express God’s supernatural wisdom; that all the bounties, benefits and blessings of this New year envelop you and yours and that the great monarch of Zion establish the works of your hands in this new year.

Do have an amazing 2021 and please endeavour to keep the Fire on the altar burning and glowing. Stay blessed. Happy New year family!

Your Brother,

Chuka Duru
